Can you squat ass to the grass?

When did you last time do a deep squat? Lately there’s been a lot of talk and news about youngster and adults who cannot do a deep squat, I think that those news’s been very relevant!
I think that each kid, youngster and adult should be able to do a deep squat, since it’s a natural resting position for a human. When you’re squatting very low, many of your joints get movement to their limits or close to it, for example ankle, knee and hip joints. The position also requires movement from you pelvis and lumbar spine. When squatting down with your bodyweight, the lumbar spine flexes naturally, so you don’t need to try to keep your back straight.
At the deep squat position also the organs of the core get some movement and stimulus, because the stomach hits the tights and the pelvis tilts posteriorly. That causes changes in the position of the intestines and the intestinal functions may get easier! So if you have constipation, you could try if hanging in a deep squat helps.
Why can’t people squat?
If you don’t use a specific range of motion for a while, the joints and tissues of that range of motion get tighter and stiffer. So if you haven’t even tried to do a deep squat for years, you cannot expect your body to be able to do it anymore. We all should maintain different range of motions and movement patterns and remind our bodies of those in every now and then.
If a deep squat is super hard for you, the reason can sometimes be found from too plain training. Even though a body of a kid or a teenager is very elastic and the joints are healthy, can very unilateral training shape the body optimal for some sport genre for example hockey or football. If a person trains a lot a specific type of sports, other movements and ways to move may be forgotten and even the “normal” movements patters and positions may start to feel uncomfortable and hard.
I try to hang out in a deep squat daily, even many times during the day. I might squat with my clients or on a break during my day at work, if I feel like my body needs some movement. On the other hand I might squat down in the evening while watching tv, on the couch or on the floor.
